We are at Arundel, about twenty minutes north of Robina on the M1. Straight up the highway, and most work is done in one visit.
If you park at Robina Town Centre or the station you already know what an open deck does to a car in February. The wheel is untouchable and the seats are worse. The fix is not necessarily darker glass, because Queensland sets a legal limit on the front windows and we fit to it. The fix is a film that rejects infrared, which is the part of sunlight that carries the heat.
Robina also has a lot of work vehicles moving through it, and utes and vans get the same treatment as anything else, including canopy and barn door glass that some shops will not touch.

Robina generates two very different kinds of work. The first comes from the open parking decks at the Town Centre and the station, where cars sit uncovered from morning to evening. By February those cars are arriving with cracked dash tops, steering wheels that have gone tacky and rear shelves faded a shade lighter than the seats. That is UV rather than heat, and it is cumulative.
The second comes from the volume of work vehicles moving through the suburb. Utes and vans around the hospital and business precincts pick up a specific pattern of damage. Tray and canopy edges scuffed from loading, tailgate marks, and glass that has been left untinted because it was a fleet purchase and nobody specified it.
Across both groups the most common request is the same. People want the cabin to be liveable in summer without going darker than the law allows. That is a solvable problem, and the answer is film construction rather than shade, which is worth understanding before you compare quotes.

A tint job is a single visit. A ceramic coating takes longer because the paint has to be prepared and the coating has to cure, and we will tell you the timing when we quote.
Yes. Utes with canopies, vans with rear barn doors and 4WDs with quarter glass are routine for us. Odd shapes and small panes take longer than a standard sedan, so the quote reflects the actual glass rather than a flat rate. Send us the vehicle details and we will price it properly.
Yes, and the practical way to do it is staged rather than all at once so you are never without a vehicle. Tint is same day per car. If the fleet also needs coating, that is a longer commitment per vehicle and we will map out a schedule with you before starting.
It stops the cause. Cracking is UV breaking down the plasticiser in the dash material, and our films block over 99 per cent of UV, so the deterioration effectively halts from the day it goes on. It will not reverse damage already done. If the dash is already cracked, tint protects what is left rather than repairing it.
