A caravan or motorhome roof takes more UV in a year than most cars take in five, and oxidised, chalky panels are the result. It happens flat on, all day, whether the van is being used or sitting in the yard between trips, and by the time it looks bad from the ground the top has already gone.
A ceramic coating slows that down and makes the wash after a trip far less work. We coat the roof and hatches, side panels and the front stone guard area, checkerplate and alloy trim, windows and the A frame. The black streaks down the sides are dirt bonding to a porous, oxidised surface, so once a coating is there they rinse off instead of needing a scrub.
